Had a nice, though slightly hurried weekend in Maryland.

Went to the Small Press Expo with my mum. It was the first time she really saw quality chapbooks, comics, and graphic novels like this. It was nice to have her there and to introduce her to my friend Jon.

Purchased books from Mark Burrier, whom I saw at an earlier comic event this year. I like the way he draws noses.

Also bought a collection of work from Closed Caption Comics. They are good kids and know what they’re doing.
