Baby’s first fur coat. I recently found a lovely 80s faux fur coat at Beacon’s Closet. The lining is worn out and instead of buttons there was a messy system of wires and thread. At a mere $17, I couldn’t help but rescue it. Found some buttons, tied pieces of shoelace into loops and sewed everything into place. The coat is the perfectly ‘eccentric rich lady’ aesthetic, but is also warm without being hot. Best of all, it feels like the softest teddy bear you’ve ever hugged. Love it.
