Captured: America in Color from 1939-1943

I remember seeing these a while ago but just stumbled onto the photo set again and am still in awe.

Sometimes, it’s so hard to remember that the past happened in color.

It’s a different time period but Matt has been retelling me some things from a collection of Lincoln’s speeches he’s been reading and, similarly, it’s a nice jolt of smarter and more interesting people have existed long before today/the here and now is not that special.
