I’ve been watching Square Pegs this week.
I’m still not crazy about the laugh track, or the weird pseudo-racism of the ‘Guatemalan Baby’ joke/the Weemawee Indian mascot..or the fact that Amy Linker had to wear a fat suit (why not hire a bigger girl or let Amy just be an awkward kid sans being chubby??), but as a time capsule of fashion and music it’s definitely worth...

Listened to this for an hour yesterday. It was a hypnotic experience.
I don’t know the titles of a good deal of these songs (especially pre 80’s) but I’ve heard about 90% of them at one point or another and it was fascinating to listen to them in some sort of context.
