I don’t think I’ve mentioned this 1957 documentary before but I highly recommend it. It’s ridiculous and melodramatic and so sad. A lot of interviews of people from the town he grew up in and the aunt and uncle who raised him, and an unbelievable collection of photos of Dean through the years.

Belated 365 Movies of 2010 Overview
I can’t believe January is already almost over!
2011 got under way so quickly, that I forgot to write a digest of 2010 - my biggest year in movie-watching ever (365 movies seen in full, with some duplicates). I doubt I’ll ever get anywhere near that number again, but it feels satisfying to finally reach the goal (last year I could only get to 295).
