Went to the NYTV Festival (the animated portion) last night to support Dan’s 9AM Meeting (which is awesome) and ended up discovering another great animated series. It’s by Stephen Leonard and is called A Guy and his Beaver. It’s less dirty and funnier than you’d think.

The posters and the title (OnStar has a show now?) didn’t exactly pull me in, but after reading about it in New York Magazine, I gave the pilot a chance and am now excited to see where it’s going. What can I say, I love stories about handsome con men!

Seriously - it’s pretty good for a pilot (numerous familiar characters and ‘huh?wha’ scenes aside..), though after the disappearance of Flash Forward and the blah ending of Lost, I’m kind of weary of becoming wrapped up in supernatural shows.
I’m mostly just rooting for it because I like Jason...
