Zadie Smith’s White Teeth is one of my favorite novels. I picked it up towards the end of college and finished it (crying) while flying to see my dad for the first time in 12 years. It’s appropriate because the book is a collection of interweaving stories about families that come apart but ultimately reunite and reshape.
Honestly, I don’t remember that much of it now. But I...

I think I have a twin in Minneapolis?
Just stumbled onto this craigslist ad by way of my “I love bad movies” google alert and am made almost uncomfortable by the echoes of my old ads and current obsessions.
Bad movies? Ugly dresses? “roll with a quality crowd”? “love being social as much as I love being a hermit”? “not easily charmed”?...
Trip recap
So, after letting the Grand Canyon trip stew for a bit, this is what I’ve come up with:

Another appearance by Elliott on the daily show. What a great giggle!
I’m back home in Brooklyn.
The trip ended on a positive note and I hope to write more about it soon.

Please note that my cellphone was stolen Tuesday and that my address book was lost in the process. I hope to get a replacement cell in the coming days.
In the mean time, if you want me to have your number, please e-mail it to me at WHO IS KSEN at GMAIL.
Quick dispatch:
The Grand Canyon was more beautiful than you could ever imagine.
So was Sedona.
It was also extremely cold and snowy.
Not what you would expect in the South.
I didn’t pack for it.
Also our car was broken into, but the things stolen were more personal than expensive.
Not the vacation I thought it would be.
Four more days to go.
Later today we will be in Arizona!
I’m so excited, I’ll probably pee my pants.
See you guys in a week.
